The Challenge

Studio RNDR sells architecture before it is built, and clients judge them on previous work in seconds. They had no website, no copy and no structure, just a folder of renders. The site had to look as good as the work it shows without shipping megabytes of images.

Solution

A four-act one-page site (Work, Process, Studio, Contact) built in Astro, with a curated portfolio of six projects and outlined display type that echoes a wireframe before the render. All 45 renders were processed to AVIF with declared dimensions and lazy loading, then deployed on the Netlify CDN.

Results

Measured on the live site with Lighthouse 12: 100/100 SEO, 100/100 Best Practices, CLS 0, and 87.7 KB of HTML that travels as 10.7 KB compressed. Time to first byte from Honduras is 304 ms.
